The Department of Computer Science offers two joint programs with other departments in the Faculty of Science.
Computer Science - Mathematics Joint Honours
Students in this program complete a balance of courses in computer science and mathematics. This program is ideal for students with a desire to explore the computational side of mathematics or the mathematics of computing.
Computer Science - Physics and Astronomy Joint Honours
The Computer Science - Physics and Astronomy Joint Honours program combines courses in computer science with Physics and Astronomy. Students interested in computational simulation of physical systems will want to take this program. The program will also be a strong draw to students interested in both hardware and software in computing, through courses such as PHYS 2610 (Circuit Theory and Introductory Electronics).
Joint Programs and Co-op
Students in both of the joint honours programs may join the Computer Science Co-op Program.
