Contest Dates:
The contest will run from until March 14th 2003.
Entries must be submitted by 8:30am
on Friday March 7th.
Entries will be judged and the winner announced on Friday March 14th.
Contest Rules
- Teams will consist of up to 4 students, 1 of which MUST
be a 1st or 2nd year student.
- Entrance fee is $15 per team, with 75% of the money collected to be awarded
as prize money.
- A yearly trophy will also be awarded for the winner. It will reside in the
ACM/CSSA lounge.
- A basic example of the functionality of the program will be provided
for teams.
- The final product must include the basic functionality of the prototype.
- The idea of the contest is to create the most difficult BUT NOT
IMPOSSIBLE interface to use. Emphasis should be placed on humor.
- This may be accomplished in any way, but an expert in the system must be
able to use their system in a prescribed amount of time.
- Any development platform is acceptable so long as it is compatible with
the computers and computer systems available at the University of Manitoba.
- Teams will be required to submit SOURCE code for their entries before they
will be judged.

Note*: You must be a member of the University of Manitoba Student Chapter of the
ACM.
Prizes:
