I am not THAT John Anderson

Yes, I am a John Anderson. No, I am not THAT John Anderson, though we tend to duke it out in Google pagerank. But isn't it weird that I'd have to say that I'm not a country music singer, given how far you're into these pages at this point? Surprisingly enough, there are still people in this world that mistake a mild-mannered computer scientist with a Nashville country music singer. Sure, most of them are AOL users, but it's still somewhat surreal that people would send e-mail to an address with a hostname like 'cs.umanitoba.ca' and expect to reach the gentleman pictured above. Below are some examples of actual emails that I've received, apparently mistaking me for this person (contact information removed to mock the guilty as little as possible on a personal level). It is indeed an odd, odd world.

I have been trying for weeks to see your video "From 30 thousand feet you
can't tell the difference.
I feel this song is very inspirational.
If you could please let me know how I could see this video.
I've tryed to request it on cmt, but had no luck.
Is there any way you could ask cmt to play it?
If so, I am only able to catch cmt on the weekends because I work.

Thank You!
PS. keep up the great work, for you do have one of the greatest voices there is.

Your fan
