Responsibilities:

  • Team member of the Bioinformatics Group of the MGCB2 project. Research on Supervised Learning Method Applied to Biological Network prediction.

  • Team member of the Project “Computational Prediction of Transposon Insertion Sites in Cancer Studies”. Learning Finite-state transducers to predict Sleeping Beauty transposon (a type of cancer) insertion sites.

  • Teaching Assistant (TA) at the Computer Science Department: Courses: COMP1010, COMP1020, COMP4720 (several terms) (Java, Python Programming Introduction - I and II)

  • Leader of the ProjectDevelopment of Software Applications for Monogastric and Ruminants Animal Nutrition”. Several computer programs were implemented combining computer science and animal nutritions research.
