This course introduces and explores core concepts and methods in
Natural Language and Speech Processing.
We will work on natural language morphology (the "structure of words");
grammar and parsing; semantics; and special issues related to dialogue processing
and spoken language systems.
Assessment will be through assignments, a research report, a course group project, and final exam.
