Natural Language Processing

University of Manitoba



This course introduces and explores core concepts and methods in Natural Language and Speech Processing.
We will work on natural language morphology (the "structure of words"); grammar and parsing; semantics; and special issues related to dialogue processing and spoken language systems.

Assessment will be through assignments, a research report, a course group project, and final exam.
