To be truer to Star Trek, the concepts of missiles/rockets and fighters may have to be revamped or removed altogether. Some discussion took place which suggested planetary based fighters be replaced with "drones" or "satellites" along with small ships (along the size/power/class of Peregrine fighters), while ship based fighters are only those large enough to carry a few runabouts (Prometheus is a case whereby each of its two extra ship parts is carried in a bay). Cardassian orbital weapons platforms have been added. |
