Stewart Lake Canoe Trip 2021
Following the success of our canoe trips on the Stewart Lake Loop in 2017, in Nopiming Park in 2018, and in Eagle-Dogtooth Park in 2020, Sophie, Celeste and I enjoyed another wonderful annual father-daughter canoe trip with Aaron and Geneviève. This year we returned to Upper Stewart Lake and Winnage Lake in Winnage Provincial Park, between Kenora and Vermillion Bay, where the five of us paddled in 2017.

It was hot (we slept on top of our sleeping bags and we were still too warm)! There were no bugs and we again enjoyed staying at such amazing campsites. We roasted marshmallows at moonrise over a camp stove due to a fire ban! We left a day early to avoid imminent heavy rain (and a tornado warning) and spent our last night at Aaron and Geneviève's cabin near Kenora, where the girls got to go tubing!
