Reservations are recommended
for backcountry permits in the canyon. Reserve three months in advance.
The Bright Angel Campground seems the be the major congestion; we were
able to get four backcountry permits for the Tonto trail on the morning
we hiked down.
Vehicles require a $10 NPS entry permit obtainable at the park gate. See NPS Grand Canyon website for details. |
