Matt's Diary: Day 1 9am depart Vancouver (0m). Matt makes left-hand drive debut putting several years on Steph's gearbox. Coquihalla, Yak Peak, Kamloops, Rogers Pass, and Mt. Sir Donald later, our intrepid explorers arrive at the Columbia Icefields. 9pm observe Andromeda (3442m). Skyladder looks v. steep. All attemps to find campground fail miserably so we drive halfway up approach road where we find all the other climbers camped out (2000m). Day 2: Mount Andromeda |
