Continuing with our "classic peaks of the Rockies" tour, we visited Mount Temple at Moraine Lake in Banff National Park. As every tourist knows, the old twenty dollar bill has the Moraine Lake panorama on its reverse. This climb (hike) is straightforward. We left all ropes, snow, ice, and rock gear at the car, anticipating an easier climb. As it turned out, our crampons, axes, and helmets were also unnecessary this time of year.
