How to Access the Web
To access the World Wide Web, you need:
- A Web
client (or browser):
- A text-only browser, such as
Lynx.
- A graphic mode or multimedia browser, such as
Mosaic, or
Netscape.
- A computer to run it on (UNIX, PC, Mac,...).
- An Internet connection (Ethernet, SLIP, PPP,...).
- A server or list of sites to access:
- Time on your hands.
