Biography:

Dr. Misic received her PhD degree in Computer Engineering in 1993, from School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia. She joined Department of Computer Science at University of Manitoba in July 2003 where she is currently associate professor. From 1995 till 2003 she was with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is the member of IEEE and ACM.

• WLANs, WPANs, wireless sensor networks, wireless mesh networks, ad hoc networks
• Dynamic spectrum allocation
• Applications of wireless sensor networks in healthcare and environmental monitoring.
• Network security
• Performance evaluation
