EASY-TO-USE AND LOW-COST COMPUTER GAME -ASSISTIVE PLATFORM TO TRANSITION UPPER EXTREMITY STROKE REHABILITATION TO HOME SETTINGS

Abstract

There is a need for innovation to manage rehabilitative efforts to improvecompliance and accessibility for effective therapy of upper extremity (UE) motor impairments post-stroke. An emerging approach to engage and assist clients in therapy is to incorporate computer-aidedand game-assisted exercise methods with a range of interactive and assistive challenges during repet-itive task-specific motor activities.
